You may have noticed more and more restaurants are serving up local farm ingredients, but have you noticed more and more farms are serving up dinner?
That's the idea behind Outstanding in the Farms and Dinners at the Farm, two organizations hosting series of dinners across the country celebrating local farms, food and community!
Meals comprised of produce and protein grown inches away from the table is a unique opportunity I can't wait to try. Unfortunately, tickets don't come cheap. At about $150 a pop this event will have to be one of those special occassions I gift myself! I hear it's well worth the money though. With about 6 courses, wine and beer pairings, a beautiful setting and great company, this dinner promises to be unlike any other.
Cheers to another farm-to-table business reconnecting diners with the origins of their food!
It's so nice to have you do all of the research for us. It makes our decision making so much easier!! Thanks.

People have sorrow and joy; they part and meet again. The moon dims or shines; it waxes or wanes.

This is the reason why I would love to live in the farm at least a month or two. There's always fresh food available anytime of the day.
